The Film's Odd Conclusion Detailed

A Mix of Humor and Terror

One would have to seek out a cause to chuckle over, also, if you endured what Diego and Sage face in Bone Lake. A duo full of partnership troubles from the beginning—lack of communication, unfulfilling intimacy, an disproportionate load of financial responsibility, and more—their connection is strained when a second pair, the character Will and the character Cin, gatecrash their love-filled retreat.
A Dark Change
Seemingly at the start to be a contrast of opposites between the two pairs—Diego and Sage are clumsy and blue-collar, whereas Will and Cin have a wealthy, luxurious existence and seem to be being intimate on every surface possible—becomes sinister as the weekend unfolds. It just took having a killer pair try to break them up and take their lives to understand it. If that sounds grim, it is not shown that way. Bone Lake's mood is closer to satire than actual fear.
The film finishes with Sage and Diego working together to escape Cin and Will's deadly plans. Notably is that while, at the outset of the feature, you perceive a deep abyss in the relationship between Diego and Sage in contrast to Cin and Will, by the conclusion, Bone Lake reverses it upside down. Cin and Will split up to pursue Diego and Sage, but Diego and Sage are talking more effectively now. They team up to slay the character Will with a power tool. They after that confront the character Cin, who meets a bloody fate at the floor of Bone Lake's body of water—but only after Diego takes back the wedding ring intended for Sage that Will had taken and presented to the character Cin.
