Meghan made a surprise appearance at Paris Fashion Week this past weekend to cheer on a fashion designer friend.

She attended the Balenciaga presentation after taking a journey alone across the Atlantic.

She has worn several creations by the brand's fresh creative head Piccioli and the attendance signaled "her support for his new creative chapter," a spokesman for the duchess said.

This marked her initial visit at the fashion spectacle for over ten years.

"Over the years, the duchess has worn a number of designs by the designer," the representative commented.

"They have collaborated extensively collaborating on design for key moments on the world stage."

"She has long admired his craftsmanship and contemporary grace, and tonight was no different."

Meghan, who announced her arrival in the French capital with an social media post, chose a light-colored ensemble of flowing pants and a blazer from the collection for the show on Saturday.

The duchess is last known to have traveled to the United Kingdom in September 2022 to participate in a philanthropic gathering and was in the nation when Queen Elizabeth II passed away. She and Prince Harry then stayed on for the funeral.

Prince Harry met his father the King recently amid speculation about a reconciliation.

Harry has made several trips to the UK in recent years for a range of activities including for fundraising occasions and to be present at legal proceedings.
