President Authorizes Dispatching Armed Forces into Chicago, as Judge Halts Oregon City Deployment.

This past weekend, federal officials confirmed that Donald Trump has authorized the deployment of the militia forces to the Illinois city, while simultaneously a court official prevented his team from dispatching personnel to Portland, Oregon.

White House Announces Chicago Forces Move

A spokesperson for the White House stated that the president had authorized using the state of Illinois guard troops, citing what she called “persistent disturbances and lawlessness” that city officials have failed to control.

In Oregon, US district judge the presiding judge agreed with the argument from Oregon that the President dispatching militia members to the city would probably escalate rather than ease public unrest.

“This judgment supports what local citizens already know: fairness prevailed, and facts won out,” the state's chief executive stated following the legal injunction was issued. “There is no insurrection in the city. National security is not at risk. No blazes, no explosives, no deaths due to civil unrest.”

Illinois Governor Calls Move Unnecessary

The Democratic top official, the state leader called the decision unnecessary and “a manufactured performance – lacking genuine intent to ensure citizen security.”

Judicial Official Prevents Portland Forces Dispatch

Donald Trump has suffered a setback to his plan of sending troops to Democrat-led cities he labels as disorderly, subsequent to a judicial officer halted his team's plan to dispatch the armed forces to Portland.

The President had declared on 27 September that he would dispatch personnel to the municipality, “authorizing Complete Power, if needed”, ignoring requests from city authorities and the the state's federal lawmakers. A coalition of multiple municipal chiefs in the area had resisted the forces dispatch.
