Match Preview
Greetings for the premier women's rugby match! This tournament has expanded significantly and better each season, starting with only four squads back in 2018 to a substantially expanded 12 teams. Interestingly enough, the championship match includes the Roosters and Broncos in the grand final, just as we did back in 2018.
Both teams have been exceptional throughout the campaign β the Roosters haven't lost in 2025 and the Broncos have lost only one game. Each team display superstars throughout their lineups and both are perfectly capable of taking the championship when performing well.
Their previous encounter occurred in the third round β during July β when the Roosters earned a tight triumph by just four points. During that contest, the Roosters opened impressively, built a significant half-time lead, before the Broncos mounted a late game rally. Olivia Kernick notched a decisive late try to ensure the win for the defending premiers in an entertaining encounter. If the competitors repeat that performance from that previous meeting, viewers will witness a magnificent game today.
With plenty of excitement ahead of us, the action commences!
